A non-technical blog today but one which holds just as much importance. Over the last 6 months, Adam and I have been building out something we would call a VMware Apple User Group.

VMUG (VMware User Group) is an international community of VMware users whose goal is to share knowledge. VMUG provides members with opportunities to collaborate online and in person. There are hundreds of these groups covering almost every element of our industry and they are such an important part of our community.

Our Apple User Group is a gathering of Apple enthusiasts across EMEA, whose keen interest in technology provides Adam and I the opportunity to keep them up to date with the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and macOS updates. This has proven to be a fantastic way for our partners and customers to interface in with VMware at a more focused level.

Our goal is to provide up to date information on the most recent features and functionality around the latest operating system updates and give an insight into what we are seeing in the market. Sessions consisting of overviews, troubleshooting tips, and interactions with our business are a small glimpse into what we are offering. Coming up we have our own IT department on to present and answer questions on how we manage our own estate of Macs and iOS devices in our company. The best part of all of this is offering you the chance to feedback any thoughts of your own into us to be shared with our R&D colleagues.

One of my absolute favourite parts of my role is the ability to connect with more people and build relationships. I love it! With that, Adam and I would like to open up our user group to you. If you have an interest in joining our group please drop an email to Adam or I with some contact details so we can be in touch.

Our Group runs every 2nd Monday of the month at 2pm BST time, 3pm CEST. We have private Teams and Slack channels to share and collaborate on content.
